#2 San Jose Sharks @ #7 Calgary Flames
Series tied 1-1
If I had to pick one word to describe that video, it would probably be "hell." Fire, epic music, loud fans screaming for blood (okay that might be a stretch) and the like. Thankfully, the Sharks carry their league-best road record (27-10-4) into the game. One huge question for the game will be the officiating. Calgary coach Mike Keenan was unhappy with how game two was called.
If you take games one and two at face value, the Sharks are more suited to a tightly officiated game, while the Flames benefit more from a loosely called one.
I don't necessarily agree with that, but looking at the first two games that's the logical conclusion. We'll see how this politicking turns out.I have a feeling Ehrhoff will be back on our blueline for tonight. This is bound to help shore up some problems we've been having (odd-man rushes) and help limit the amount of work Nabby has.
Kipper vs. Nabby toe-to-toe once again will be a treat to watch. The stellar play of both netminders will likely determine the outcome of the game, and eventually the series.Prediction: Sharks win 2-1. Goals by JR and Patty.
