Baseball is known as a thinking man’s game, but there’s always plenty of old-fashioned idiocy happening in and around Major League Baseball.

It’s a good thing that B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar and MLB Lead Writer Zachary D. Rymer are here to keep track of it all.

The time has come for another “MLB Idiot of the Week” segment, otherwise known as that time of the week when you get to shake your head at the latest and greatest numbskullery going on in the baseball world.

This week, wagging fingers are aimed not at Alex Rodriguez, but at one guy who wronged A-Rod and another guy who’s not helping his public perception. For a change, A-Rod himself is innocent of any wrongdoing.
