The Connected Franchise mode in Madden 25 allows gamers to participate as a player, coach or owner. Owners will oversee every aspect of the organization; from player personnel moves, to marketing and ticket prices, you'll handle every aspect of operations on top of playing each game.

As a coach, you'll play the games in the most traditional sense.

As a player, you will only control the actions of one player on the team. You'll be in charge of his career and legacy.

It is always fun to select a young, up-and-coming player to control. This way, you can be at the helm of his career from beginning until end. Here's a look at a few young and explosive players to control.

Tavon Austin, St. Louis Rams

Although he's only 5'8", 175 pounds, Austin is one of the foremost big-play threats in Madden 25. The rookie out of West Virginia is set to make an impact with the St. Louis Rams as a slot receiver, kick/punt returner and overall weapon.

He has a 76 overall rating to begin, but his marks of 95 speed, 98 agility, 95 elusiveness, 96 spin moves and 97 juke will make him a nightmare to tackle.

Imagine how good you can make him with training in his first two Madden seasons.

Margus Hunt, Cincinnati Bengals

Selecting Hunt may mean you'll have to wait your turn to play or even ask to be traded. The Cincinnati Bengals defensive line is stacked.

But if you can get him on the field, the kid is a beast. The rookie from Southern Methodist University was born in Estonia, so he has an interesting path to the NFL.

He's also 6'8", 277 pounds and equipped with a speed rating of 84. Only two defensive ends in the game are faster. Because Hunt is so big, he has a strength rating of 88. That would enable him to play defensive tackle as well.

Hunt would easily be the fastest defensive tackle in the game. You may be able to control Madden's next dominant pass rusher.

Terrelle Pryor, Oakland Raiders

Before you laugh and start cracking tattoo jokes, hear me out. Pryor is only rated 70 in Madden 25, but he's also only 24 years old. Part of the reason his rating is so low is because his awareness rating is 52.

That's a heavily weighted category for a quarterback, but the good thing is, when you're controlling the player, the awareness rating goes out the window.

Your awareness is now Pryor's awareness. You can make the former Buckeye as savvy on the field as Tom Brady.

Pryor's throwing accuracy rating is just 72, so there is work to be done there, but he has a cannon for an arm. His throw power rating is 92, and he's still an amazing athlete.

Pryor clocks in with a speed rating of 90. Only Michael Vick and Robert Griffin III are faster at the position. The tools are there, go make Pryor a legend in Madden 25.
