Reds-Pirates: Lincoln, Cincinnati Fall to Bucs

Jamison MoodyContributor IApril 12, 2008

After wasting a good pitching outing last night, the Reds lost another one tonight, falling to the Pirates 4-3.

Bronson Arroyo pitched five innings, allowing two earned runs, but the Reds offense sputtered again.

They left 11 men on base, just one night after they leaving 12 men on base.  Mike Lincoln took his first loss of the season, as Ian Snell picked up win No. 2 for the Pirates.  Matt Capps picked up his third save of the season.

The Reds, who are 2-3 on a 9-game road trip, will try to salvage the series at PNC Park tomorrow at 1:35 EST.  Johnny Cueto and Tom Gorzelanny are scheduled to pitch for the Reds and Pirates, respectively.
