Blaine Gabbert Injury: Updates on Jacksonville Jaguars QB's Thumb

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert suffered a thumb injury in the second quarter of the team's second preseason game against the New York Jets.

The Jaguars' official Twitter account reported that Gabbert left the game with a sprain of his throwing hand:

Blaine Gabbert has a sprained right thumb. Was coming out of the game anyway. More information following the game. #JACvsNYJ

Still, Gabbert will start for the Jaguars in Week 1 against the Chiefs.
