Big John Studd
As one of the WWE's earliest giants, Studd's presence in a virtual ring will be an awesome sight to see. Standing 6'10" and weighing just under 400 pounds, Studd was a mountain of a man.
His Heart Punch signature strike and reverse bear hug will give gamers a chance to unleash two of the most powerful weapons in WWE history.
Seeing how these maneuvers will be rendered in the game is the next step. In any case, he's a cool addition.
Here's to hoping this opens the door for the Beast to return to the WWE as an active Superstar. From a sheer strength standpoint, there have been few wrestlers with the ability and imposing look of Batista.
It seemed like he should have been included in the last two WWE video games, but now he'll be included in the WWE 2K14 roster.
I called for this in a previous article and thought it was a long shot, but thankfully the most dominant big man of the 1990s was added to the roster. He was just posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.
Yokozuna was as deserving of that honor as he is this one. Who wants to do pull off the Banzai Drop with the big man?
One of the biggest cheers from the crowd came when The Bad Guy, Razor Ramon, was announced as a part of the roster. Scott Hall's in-ring characters have been legendary, and some remember him best as Razor Ramon.
The Razor's Edge is still one of the best versions of the powerbomb in wrestling history. Somebody get me a toothpick.
His WrestleMania career isn't all that stellar, but show me one real wrestling and video game fan who didn't want Goldberg in the game. During the late 1990s, no professional wrestler had as much in-ring presence as Goldberg.
Though his career was short, he made a huge impact on the industry. The Jackhammer and the Spear will be at your disposal in WWE 2K14.
Other Cool Events from SummerSlam Axxess
Sandow's wit and presence added something special to the event.
He traded barbs with the crowd and the legendary Ric Flair, who emerged from backstage after Sandow insulted him. They had a memorable spat on the mic that I was able to capture from ringside.
I apologize in advance as the angle wasn't the best, but the audio can be heard clearly.
Once Sandow left, The Nature Boy gave us a memorable parting shot. This is vintage Flair:
