The UFC Fight Night series makes its triumphant return this Saturday, August 17, when the promotion takes its trademark Octagon to the brand new Fox Sports 1 network.

The history-making event will feature a main event between legendary striker Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and legendary smack talker Chael Sonnen, in addition to 12 other fights.

With 13 bouts—many of which can be classed intriguing for either the clash of styles or the competitiveness—some legitimate stars and what, in all likelihood, will be an amped crowd packing the TD Garden to the brim, UFC Fight Night 26 has all the makings of a solid show.

And that is why Bleacher Report has got you covered with a guide to all of Saturday night's happenings.

Facebook Prelims

As per usual, fight night will begin with some Facebook fights, this time a trio of bouts with a decidedly TUF flavor.

Fights on the Facebook portion of UFC Fight Night 26 include:

  • Manny Gamburyan vs. Cole Miller
  • Cody Donovan vs. Ovince St-Preux
  • Ramsey Nijem vs. James Vick

The Facebook actions will begin at 4 p.m. ET.

Fox Sports 1 Prelims

The second set of Saturday prelims will ditch FX and head straight for the big stage that is Fox Sports 1. That's right. The main card is on Fox Sports 1, and so are the prelims that precede it. But remember, it's not one giant card. There are rules here! In Canada, you can catch these prelims on Sportsnet 360.

Fights on the Fox Sports 1 prelims card include:

  • Brad Pickett vs. Michael McDonald
  • Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway
  • Mike Brown vs. Steven Siler
  • Diego Brandao vs. Daniel Pineda

The Fox Sports 1 prelims kickoff at 6 p.m. ET.

UFC Fight Night 26 Main Card

The second tier of Fox Sports 1 fights and final tier overall—the main card—features a six-pack of fights, culminating in the headliner between Shogun Rua and Chael Sonnen.

Fights on the Fox Sports 1 main card include:

  • Mauricio Rua vs. Chael Sonnen
  • Alistair Overeem vs. Travis Browne
  • Urijah Faber vs. Iuri Alcantara
  • Matt Brown vs. Mike Pyle
  • Uriah Hall vs. John Howard
  • Joe Lauzon vs. Michael Johnson

The main card starts when the Fox Sports 1 prelims end (8 p.m. ET).
