Hannah Davis: Who Is Derek Jeter's Girlfriend and Rumored Fiancee?
You might know Hannah Davis from such things as Ralph Lauren ads or those DirecTV commercials, but she now features alongside Derek Jeter in one of sports' biggest engagement rumors.
On Thursday, the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l reported on the huge ring recently spotted on Davis' left hand. That caused many, including this very blog, to speculate that Jeter had finally decided to settle down and get married.
It seems we will have to keep guessing until these two pop out of some church amid cheering friends and family.
Some fans might not be as well acquainted with Davis as they might be with Jeter's more famous former flings. As the report reminds us, the Yankees captain has dated lovelies such as Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly in the past.
The 23-year-old Davis has graced pages and campaigns for the likes of Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Victoria's Secret.
Her career is just taking off, though, because the last couple of years have seen the model become far more visible.
However, her biggest role to date has been as DirecTV's genie who make viewers' dreams come true—as long as those dreams pertain to things actually offered by DirecTV.
Davis and Jeter
As Confidenti@l notes, the two have never really confirmed a romance, so fans have been forced to read between some extremely obvious lines.
A July 2012 New York Post article painted quite the picture, stating the two were quite cozy with one another last summer, and they even speculated the romance went as far back as March of that year.
Then in December, the New York Post ran another report on the couple's visit to Gramercy Park Hotel stating, "We’re told the couple 'hugged and kissed, and looked very happy.'"
Again, the world will have to rely heavily on hearsay and rumors to measure the extent of this particular celebrity romance.
If the two are indeed engaged, congratulations are in order. If not, let's just congratulate the MLB star on being extremely happy, even if it's allegedly so.
