Barkevious Mingo Injury: Updates on Browns Rookie's Bruised Lung

Cleveland Browns rookie outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo exited the team's second preseason game against the Detroit Lions on Aug. 15 with an injury that was later revealed to be a bruised lung.

Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer first reported the specifics of Mingo's ailment:

#browns mingo in hospital overnight with bruised lung.

Mingo was released from the hospital on Aug. 17. He was ruled out of Cleveland's regular-season opener, but could make his NFL debut in Week 2 against the Ravens.
