Greg Jennings and Wes Welker Want You to Know How Much They Hate Their Old Teams
Greg Jennings and Wes Welker did well for themselves in the offseason, having signed multiyear contracts with teams that reached the playoffs in 2012.
But if you were to listen to them, you'd never know it.
Jennings and Welker have taken their old teams to task in the preseason, each guy a bit jaded that he wasn't able to stick around where he originally made his name.
Jennings, now in Minnesota, was quick to not only question the leadership of his old quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but the organization as a whole, claiming that the Packers brass "brainwashed" the entire team into thinking that they were head and shoulders above the rest of the NFC North.
Welker, who will be dropping passes in Denver Broncos orange this fall, said that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick singled him out toward the end of Welker's tenure in Foxborough, and that he wanted to stay in New England.
Don't miss my thoughts on Jennings and Welker in this week's episode of "Let Me Get This Straight." Enjoy my hot takes in the video above and leave your own thoughts in the comments below.
As always, thanks for watching.
