NEW YORK -- Injured Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter (calf) took live batting practice, fielded grounders and did some light sprints in the outfield before Tuesday's game against the Angels. It marked the first time Jeter has hit on the field since straining his right calf on Aug. 2.
