DeMar DeRozan's Birthday Cake Has Air Jordan, Raptors Jersey and Compton Hat

There are many benefits to playing in the NBA, and apparently ridiculously awesome birthday cakes are among them.

While I was growing up, my mom made the most delicious cakes for my special days, but they never looked like this:

I hope that DeMar DeRozan likes icing.

What is there not to love about this cake? It has everything you could ever ask for, including the perfectly natural transition from Compton to Toronto. Both cities have produced famous rappers, so that means they're definitely like sister cities, right?

Looking down from top to bottom, we have the "24" that signifies how old DeRozan just turned, an Eazy-E Compton hat with a Raptors jersey hanging off it, a Toronto-themed basketball, what I have to assume is the actual cake itself and an Air Jordan VI.

If DeRozan ate this entire masterpiece  by himself, I'd bet he wouldn't be able to slam home a single dunk during the 2013-14 season. DeRozan is one of the highest fliers in the entire NBA, but it would weigh him down that much.

How would you grade this cake?

The attention to detail is what really makes this cake stand out, though.

DeRozan's Toronto jersey looks perfect, especially with the red lining and perfectly shaped maple leaf. The Air Jordan even features meshing on the side if you look closely enough.

He probably didn't even feel the need for birthday presents after a cake this perfect. Personally, I'd give the cake an "A+" and feel bad that no higher grade exists.

How about you?

And if anyone is curious, my birthday is at the end of September. I'll be accepting submissions in the contest for the most creative cake from now until then. And I guess you can even send them over after September has changed into October, as I'm not that picky.

Don't let me down.
