Well, it has been roughly three weeks since the WWE revealed that the Big Show would be returning on July 22nd.

Sadly, that return never came to fruition, as it was revealed through F4Wonline.com (via WrestlingInc.com) that Show was still recouping from an injury suffered at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Since then, I noted that the same sources reported that the company was still hoping to insert the giant Superstar into a tag match at SummerSlam.

Now, it seems like those plans may need to be reconsidered as the pay-per-view is a little over a week away and there is still no sign of him returning and now PWInsider.com is reporting that, “Big Show has been down at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, rehabbing after a hip procedure.”

So to me, it seems like all signs are pointing to Show returning after the event—or quite possibly at SummerSlam as a surprise run-in.

Last week, he changed his Twitter profile picture to a gym picture where he is flexing what could quite possibly be the most defined arms that he has ever had in his career.  Overall, it would seem like he is gearing up for his big comeback and will hopefully be put in a role that best suits both him, the company and its future stars.

It should be noted that Show tweeted on Monday that he would be a part of SummerSlam’s Fan AXXESS. So I think it’s safe to say that we can anticipate his TV return the following Monday on Raw.

In the end, we will have to wait and see what’s in store for him when he finally steps back in the ring.
