Young Soccer Star Takes Huge Header off Face, but Continues Playing Like a Champ

Ladies and gentlemen, meet the toughest little athlete in the world.

There is absolutely no need to qualify that assertion, because it's clear this anonymous dynamo was born with pure grit and a passion to play some soccer.

Thanks to The Big Lead's Stephen Douglas, we now have a little over 20 seconds of video to remind us that life isn't all corner kicks and game-winning goals.

Sometimes you get blasted in the face with a booming kick, and sometimes that kick takes you off your feet, delivering you back to earth with a thunderous reminder of humbling times.

Consider all of that an opportunity to get up and show off your mettle.

Unfortunately, there isn't a great deal of information surrounding this little champ. The YouTube video does offer the following in the description: "My son had a monster header and jumped right back up and kept going."

You can almost see the gigantic smile as this particular parent typed out those words, right before sharing their treasure with the world.

I won't pretend to be athletic, nor will I proclaim to have a courageous disposition. From experience, I will offer that soccer balls to the dome can leave a lasting impression.

This specific kick looked like it warranted at least a few moments for the kid to collect himself. Even one of the coaches comes onto the pitch to help out.

No need, because it's all part of life as the world's toughest soccer player. Give him your best shot, because he can take it.
