Rivers-Cutler: Finished Rivalry?

With all the drama in the Mile High City being settled with a trade, will there still be a fun rivalry?

On Thursday, April 2, 2009, the Denver Broncos traded their Pro Bowl quarterback, Jay Cutler, for Chicago Bears quarterback Kyle Orton, and three draft picks. The team is hoping this move will finally settle the McDaniels-Cutler feud.

Since the San Diego Chargers don't play the Bears this season, what happens to the fun and exciting Rivers-Cutler rivalry? That was always one of the highlights of playing the Broncos twice a year.

Now with Cutler gone, does this fun rivalry come to a sad end? If the two quarterbacks have anything to do with it, this rivalry is far from over. For this season, however, the two may just have to find new rivals.
