Its disclosure time again: If you are not a fan of potential spoilers, there is no need to read any further, especially if you are looking forward to all that WWE has in store for Friday night’s SmackDown.

With that out of the way, it’s time to get down to business.

Well it appears Dolph Ziggler’s fall from grace may have already begun. It all started with the announcement that Christian would be getting a shot at the World title at SummerSlam, and now WrestlingInc.com has revealed what Ziggler’s match at the event will be.

The article states:

It was announced at Tuesday's WWE SmackDown tapings from Rockford, Illinois that Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler will face WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and Big E Langston in mixed tag team action. The match was made by SummerSlam host The Miz.

Look, I am all for any Diva involvement at a pay-per-view; however, it seems a bit odd to me that one of the company’s hottest stars is seemingly on the decline. The fact is it was roughly four months ago that we witnessed fans go nuts when the “Show-Off” cashed in his MITB briefcase and won the World title one night after Raw.

Sadly, this title run was short-lived due to a concussion that he received about a month into his reign. Now, Ziggler appears to once again be on the back burner and will probably once again be the guy who puts other guys over.

Personally, I would rather see Ziggler in the World title mix. Let’s face it, Christian is no spring chicken, and at this point in his career he should be in the role of putting others over. Don’t get me wrong, he shouldn't be a jobber, but he should be in a similar role as Chris Jericho and help build up the younger guys.

In the end, I am hopeful that this will be a one-and-done feud with Big E Langston. Yes, Langston has some talent and this should prove to be a good match, but this is not the role that Ziggler should be playing at this point in his career.
