Take it from a guy that knows. This kid will play and when he does, it will be big. You are looking at a raw talent that is the embodiment of an NFL quarterback. At 6'4", he has the potential to be a Manning-type quarterback.

Chase Patton held a clipboard at Missouri. He played backup to a guy named Chase Daniels. Daniels was a great quarterback, but he was not the prototype NFL quarterback. Patton never got his chance to shine.

Patton has worked out with the Bears and now the Chiefs. The reward outweighs the risk. Patton can be your third string quarterback. He skies over potential third stringer Tate.

I don't want to beg, but please, take a chance on this guy. With the right leadership, Patton will be that gem that Pioli and Haley need to start their legacy. Patton has the potential to jump over Croyle and Cassell in a couple of years.

Call me crazy, please! If that is what it takes for the Chiefs to sign him. Please, it will be worth it.
