Big Ten/ACC Challenge: Northwestern at NC State

Match-ups for the 11th annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge have been announced, and NC State will host Northwestern.

NC State has a 5-4 record all-time in the challenge, withs wins against Purdue (1999,2004), Penn State, Northwestern, and Michigan.  

The Wolfpack have won all four games played in Raleigh, but are 1-4 on the road.

NC State previously defeated the Wildcats 74-47 in Raleigh during the 2002-03 season. Marcus Melvin scored a career-high 23 points, Julius Hodge added 17, and Josh Powell finished with 11.

The ACC has won each of the 10 Big Ten/ACC Challenges played so far.

The Challenge will feature 11 games, two of which will be telecasts on ESPNU, and the rest of the nine games will air on ESPN and ESPN2.
