NHL, NHL Pacific, San Jose Sharks, Brian Campbell
#7 Calgary Flames @ #2 San Jose Sharks (Calgary leads series 1-0)

If we can consider last night's game an aberration I think we'll be fine.

Ouch.

It's a little disheartening, but a seven game series is just that- a seven game series. A game one loss is in no way a sign of things to come, and although the momentum from last night's game may play a factor in tonight's game, there's a couple things that make me feel fairly confident about.

1) The first five minutes were terrible. Not just because Calgary scored twice, but because we were getting outplayed in every single aspect of the game. They were laying on the body, and we were on our heels. Good thing is, we outplayed Calgary right after those five minutes for just about the rest of the game.
2) Kipper was out of position on some scoring chances, and got some bounces that went Calgary's way. The hockey Gods always seem to balance this out.
3) There's no way Brian Campbell plays as poorly as he did last night ever again in his life.
4) Ryan Clowe is a monster in front of the net. Cloweverfield.

Prediction: Sharks win 3-1. Goals by JR, Patty, and Campbell.

Go Sharks.
