Adam Jones Receives Legendary Popeyes Chicken-Themed Birthday Cake

Adam Jones is now the envy of every fried chicken lover.

From the occasional eater to the one who eats it just about every day, looking at Jones' birthday cake makes your mouth water for a little fried chicken. I'm just glad I don't have a son old enough to see that and want it.

The Baltimore Orioles outfielder, who seems to have an addiction to Popeyes chicken, had nothing but good things to say about his cake for his 28th birthday.

The cake was designed by Wendy's Custom Cakes, and from the looks of their Instagram account, there's a lot of yummy goodness being designed there.

If one didn't know any better, they'd think Jones had a two-piece leg and thigh meal with macaroni and cheese, rice and beans. Forget that it's a cake; just looking at is going to make some scramble for their keys to head out to the nearest Popeyes.

According to Mike Oz of Yahoo! Sports, Jones regularly posts photos of food to his Instagram. He noted this picture Jones posted on June 16:

That's not a bad way to live your life—Popeyes waiting for you when you get on the team's chartered flight.

Any way you look at it, it's a very creative cake and seems to fit Jones' personality.

Now, the only thing we wait on is the next pro athlete to try and top this design. Eventually, it will happen. But for now, Jones has the best looking birthday cake in the major leagues.
