Philadelphia – With the trade-deadline uncertainty over, manager Bruce Bochy declared his players need to don their “big-boy pants” and start winning. The Giants heeded the call and ended their five-game losing streak with a 9-2 victory over the Phillies. Two of Bochy's biggest boys starred in an offensive surge that came out of the ether and gave the Giants a 7-1 lead after three innings.
