Auburn, Clemson 2016 WR Target Dionte Mullins Makes Amazing One-Handed Catch
Congratulations, Dionte Mullins. If you haven't already, you're about to set the Internet on fire.
Mullins, a 2016 wide receiver recruit from Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami, Fla., made a stellar one-handed grab in a recent 7-on-7 camp. That video, which you can watch above (h/t lostletterman.com), is now makings the rounds, undoubtedly impressing all who come across it.
Mullins displays a tremendous amount of athleticism, concentration and skill in this catch.
First of all, his ability to get up in the air and create separation is notable, especially since he's headed into his sophomore year. Second, notice the soft hands and the way he scoops the ball in and gets his hand underneath. That's a skill only elite high school receivers possess.
Finally, he tucks the ball into his body and keeps his arm underneath as he hits the ground, completing a perfect one-handed catch.
Mullins already has offers from Auburn, Clemson, Appalachian State, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech, Pitt and UCF, and it's easy to see why. According to his 247Sports interest list, Auburn and Clemson are his top teams right now.
It's worth noting that in the world of recruiting, there's still a long time to go before Mullins' number is called. Signing Day 2016 is light years away, so there's a good chance that his recruitment will change between now and then. If he keeps making big plays like this, expect the offers to keep rolling in.
This is the type of catch that ends up getting a nickname. You can sound off on that below.
