Chael Sonnen may have grown up as a wrestler, but he was also a big fan of professional wrestling and has developed a similar style on the microphone as many of the best ever in that genre of entertainment.

Sonnen even famously copped a "Superstar" Billy Graham speech following his win over Michael Bisping at UFC on Fox 2 in 2012.

Recently, Sonnen gave his rundown for his favorite professional wrestlers of all time, and the list might surprise some people.

While his good friend, WWE Superstar C.M. Punk, was on the list, Sonnen also mentioned a famous wrestler from the 80's who wasn't as prolific on the microphone.

"There was a guy JYD the Junkyard Dog, he was the first guy to come out with the chain," Sonnen mentioned when speaking about his favorites. "I think Quinton Jackson got that from him."

As far as his all time favorites, Sonnen pointed at the classic tag team of Ax and Smash, better known as Demolition (although he mentions they were a copy of The Road Warriors when it was actually Demolition that was a carbon copy).

Check out this video, and see who Sonnen is watching whenever he sits down to enjoy some time with the best of the best in professional wrestling.
