90'—Three minutes added on
88'—Ben Amos has to make an awkward save after a 30-yard volley bounces right in front of him! Ambitious effort but well held by the keeper.
86'—Kitchee still trying hard, looking to work the ball and press forward at every opportunity, which is credit to them. They've won a corner after Rafael knocks the ball behind.
84'—SO close! Kitchee almost have a third after a close-range diving header from Xu Deshuai flies just wide of the near post!
83'—Into the final minutes of the game now and the crowd still enjoying what they're seeing. United concede a free kick, so Kitchee will have another chance to get the ball into the area and get the fans on their feet.
81'—United sub: van Persie on for Zaha.
United have their fifth and it's a stunner from Lingard. He picks the ball up, all on his own and surrounded by four defenders, but ducks infield and curls a right-footer into the top corner from 20 yards out. Great hit, 5-2.

Jesse Lingard, 80 mins
77'—Kitchee still pressing forward themselves whenever the chance presents itself. Great atmosphere being generated in the stadium, but it goes up even a further notch when van Persie removes his training top. Looks like he's set for the last 10 or so.
74'—Heading toward the final 15 minutes now and United still enjoying large tracts of possession. No sign of RVP, who the crowd are chanting for, but United still creating plenty without him.
71'—Cleverley spins in the box and shoots hard and low, but it's saved and behind for a corner.
United subs: Rafael on for Fabio, Jones on for Carrick.

Alex Akande, 68 mins
67'—Lingard hasn't seen too much of the ball yet, but Januzaj has impressed once more since his introduction at the break. It will be interesting to see how much impact those two in particular have once the season gets underway.
64'—Januzaj causing problems again after robbing the ball and running at the defence, but after squaring to Anderson the midfielder lofts the ball well over the bar with his first-time shot.
62'—Kitchee playing with renewed confidence at times and now they really have the backing of the crowd too. Not much quality in their play but plenty of endeavour, and the more they come at United the more it will benefit the English side in terms of stepping up their own game.
59'—Januzaj and Cleverley have shots from close range but United can't quite find their fifth yet. Plenty of desperate defending going on.
57'—United have responded well to that goal and are pressing for more goals of their own. Certainly seems as though there are still more goals to come.
Incredible hit! Best goal of the night comes from Kitchee's Lam Ka Wai, who drifts past Carrick once, twice, and then leathers an unstoppable shot into the top corner with his left foot. No chance Amos, and the crowd love it.

Lam Ka Wai, 52 mins
52'—So how many more can United add? They're faster, fitter and obviously better, and the young players on the team have plenty to prove still.
Carrick frees Buttner down the left and again there's so much space down the flank. A gentle chipped cross finds Januzaj in the centre and he nods into the net from close range. 4-0!
