Thailand vs. Liverpool: Live Score, Highlights, Recap
Live preseason friendly
Thailand 0-3 Liverpool (full time)
—Philippe Coutinho, 16' (0-1)
—Iago Aspas, 48' (0-2)
—Steven Gerrard, 59' (0-3)
Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Toure, Agger, Jose Enrique, Lucas, Allen, Gerrard, Coutinho, Aspas, Borini.
Another successful outcome for the Reds then as they end their summer tour with a third victory and a third clean sheet. Philippe Coutinho, Iago Aspas and Steven Gerrard made the scoresheet today, with Luis Suarez and Gerrard also striking the woodwork.
Some impressive performances from Joe Allen, Simon Mignolet and, in one or two spells, Fabio Borini were also welcome sights.
The Reds will head back to Europe now for the final phase of their preseason, and it's got to be seen as a case of so far so good for Brendan Rodgers and his men.
Thanks very much for joining me as always, I'll be back next week for more live coverage from big friendly matches around the globe and we'll have plenty of reaction from this game coming up on the site so stay tuned! Thanks again and see you soon.
Liverpool 3 Thailand 0
88'—Contrary to what you might have just seen on your tv screens, the game is not full time and we're still playing! Promise!
87'—OFF THE BAR! Gerrard should make it 4-0 as he's played in and one-on-one with the keeper, but a really shoddy effort is hit straight at the keeper. The much more difficult follow-up is beautifully clipped over the stopper—but bounces back into his arms after hitting the crossbar.
86'—The tempo of the game has gone down rather significantly now as we wind down the last few minutes. Looking like 3-0 will be the final scoreline then.
83'—One week until Liverpool's next preseason game, which will be Steven Gerrard's testimonial match at Anfield against Olympiacos. After that it's Celtic and Valarenga, before starting the season proper against Stoke City in three weeks.
80'—Final 10 minutes then! Is there another goal in the game for Liverpool? They've certainly looked more threatening in this second half with some good movement. Suarez tries a cheeky chip from the edge of the area but the ball floats a few yards wide.
79'—Oops. Mignolet mis-controls a backpass and it almost bobbles over the line before the keeper recovers.
Liverpool sub: Luis Alberto on for Joe Allen.
78'—Disappointment as Suarez hits the free kick into the wall. Ibe keeps the move alive and eventually Allen wins a corner.
77'—Henderson and Suarez combine superbly outside the box and the Englishman would be through on goal until he's pulled back on the edge. Would be a red in a league game, but only a yellow today, and a free kick for Liverpool.
75'—Ibe into the side netting! Gerrard tried to return a pass to Henderson but it was blocked by the defender, before Ibe smashes the ball just wide of the near post.
73'—Only four subs from the Reds today, so that could well be it, with the boss indicating plenty of players would feature for the full 90 today. Suarez looks to shoot but is crowded out so squares to Gerrard instead, but the captain's effort is sent well over the bar.
71'—Into the final 20 minutes now and Allen tries to find Henderson, before he moves it right to Suarez. Ibe gets the ball in the middle and pulls it back for Henderson—whose shot is well saved on the line! Could have been a great fourth goal for Liverpool.
59'—OFF THE BAR! Gerrard's free kick finds Suarez unmarked in the middle and he beats the keeper with his header, only to see it crash back and down off the crossbar. Close to 4-0.
57'—Liverpool free kick on the left side and a chance for Gerrard to put the ball into the middle.
Liverpool sub: Martin Skrtel on for Kolo Toure, Henderson on for Philippe Coutinho.
55'—Liverpool utterly dominant in possession now, until a mis-hit pass from Lucas concedes possession, at least. Ibe has come out initially to this right flank, with Suarez alone up top now. Jordan Henderson is preparing to enter the field too.
52'—Ibe, Allen and Johnson combine inside the penalty area. Interesting combination of winger, full-back and deep central midfielder doing the attacking there! It doesn't result in a goal. Or a shot.
Liverpool subs: Iago Aspas and Fabio Borini off, Luis Suarez and Jordon Ibe on.
Great acclaim for Suarez as he runs onto the pitch.
And Gerrard makes it three! Aspas runs down the right channel of the penalty area and does well to hold onto the ball before teeing up Gerrard, who clips a first-time shot over the goalkeeper and the retreating defender on the line. Fine finish, and the crowd salute their hero.

Steven Gerrard, 59 mins
57'—Nice linkup play down the left initially by Liverpool before Jose Enrique gets himself a bit tangled up in trying to find a cross. He does well to keep hold of the ball initially but then he and Allen are unable to fashion a clear chance.
55'—Well. Borini is played in by Coutinho and knocks the ball past the defender before being quite clearly tripped—no penalty, says the referee. Was pretty much stonewall.
54'—Coutinho turns again to leave a defender for dead and plays in Borini with the outside of his boot, but the keeper is once more alert to run out and kick clear. Cheers go up around the ground as Luis Suarez starts his warmup.
52'—Liverpool will hope to add more goals to this tally tonight. Though they haven't yet conceded a goal in preseason, only against Preston did they perhaps show a completely aggressive mentality in attack. Might be partly to do with the temperatures, but still, the team and the fans will want a few more goals on the scoresheet.
Coutinho involved in the buildup as he slots a fine pass through to Aspas, the Spaniard takes it in his stride with a rolling turn past the defender and he picks his spot with a left-footed finish to double Liverpool's lead. 2-0.
