After months of hype and promotion, the WWE and E! collaboration Total Divas is set to debut on Sunday night. The show promises to offer an inside look at the lives of WWE Divas, including The Bella Twins, The Funkadactyls, Natalya and a pair of new Divas in Eva Marie and Jo-Jo.

The WWE Universe is certainly a very vocal group, so there has already been plenty of talk about the show's potential benefits and shortcomings. There seems to be some concern that Total Divas will come off as scripted, but, at the same time, never before have fans been granted such extensive access to the lives of their favorite wrestlers.

Even for those wrestling fans who aren't particularly drawn in by the Divas, there are still plenty of reasons to tune in. With many of the cast members dating high-profile WWE Superstars, the show certainly won't suffer from a lack of overall star power.

WWE and E! have released plenty of teaser videos ahead of Sunday's debut, including this official trailer for the show:

There is clearly plenty of action packed into that two-minute preview, so it will be interesting to see how long the premiere episode can hold the viewers' interest. With so many unique and over-the-top personalities sharing the stage, though, the odds are in favor of Total Divas being a hit.

When: Premieres Sunday, July 28 at 10 p.m. ET (Encore presentation Monday, July 29 on USA after Raw)

Watch: E!

The Cast

Bella Twins

Nikki and Brie are WWE veterans, as the identical twins have been with the company since 2008 with the exception of a break last year. They have each held the Divas Championship on one occasion, and they are known for their boisterous personalities. The Bellas play the heel role on television every week, and it appears as though that will be the case on Total Divas as well.

The Bellas have more or less been cast as the stars of the show, as they have been making the media rounds. They have been pretty much everywhere over the past few weeks, often making several promotional appearances in one day, which is exactly what happened on Thursday, as seen in this photo montage courtesy of The Bellas' Twitter account.

In addition to The Bella Twins themselves, it will be worth keeping an eye on Daniel Bryan and John Cena. Brie and Bryan have been dating for quite some time, which is something Bryan discussed recently in an interview with RVA Magazine. Also, Nikki began dating John Cena several months ago, according to Diva-Dirt.

Things seem to be getting pretty serious between Nikki and Cena, with the former already dropping marriage hints, as seen in this exclusive video.

Cena is the current WWE champion and unquestioned face of the company, while Bryan is arguably the fastest-rising star. They will face each other in the co-main event at SummerSlam, so they are at the forefront of wrestling fans' minds right now. Seeing how they interact promises to be one of the most interesting parts of Total Divas.

The Funkadactyls, Cameron and Naomi, act as dancers and valets for the team of Brodus Clay and Tensai, which is affectionately known as Tons of Funk. Unlike The Bellas, Cameron and Naomi are fairly new to the business. Cameron was a contestant on the most recent edition of Tough Enough. Although she was eliminated first and ripped by host "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for saying that her all-time favorite match was Melina vs. Alicia Fox, she is the only person from that season still with the WWE.

Naomi is more of a traditional wrestler and is one of the most athletic Divas on the current roster. Naomi made her WWE debut on the third season of NXT. She displayed some great in-ring ability, but she finished second to Kaitlyn in the competition. Now she acts primarily as a dancer, but she shines when she gets a chance to wrestle.

Cameron and Naomi haven't been out there as much as The Bellas, but they have joined the media circus as well. They even offered some workout advice in this video from Naomi's Twitter account.

The Funkadactyls are portrayed as The Bella Twins' primary rivals since they are younger and trying to rise up the ranks, while The Bella Twins are trying to keep their spot atop the mountain. Like The Bellas, the boyfriends of Cameron and Naomi figure to be featured prominently on the show. Cameron's boyfriend isn't a fellow member of the WWE, but Naomi's is.

According to Andy Neuenschwander of, Naomi's fiance is one-half of The Uso Brothers, Jimmy Uso. His involvement figures to add another piece to an already-intriguing puzzle.

Few current female wrestlers have as much appreciation for the business as Natalya. The daughter of former WWE tag team champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Natalya has been around wrestling since a young age. With wrestling legends such as Bret Hart, Owen Hart and The British Bulldog also part of her family, it was always Natalya's destiny to become a Diva. She has made the most of it, too, as she is a former Divas champion.

Because of her background, Natalya comes off looking like the veteran of the group even though she's just 31 years of age. There is also little doubt that she is the best pure wrestler among the cast, so it will be interesting to see if she imparts any wisdom. Whatever the case, Natalya certainly seems to be excited about the premiere of Total Divas.

The main storyline surrounding Natalya will focus on her marriage to fellow wrestler Tyson Kidd. The two have known each other since they were children, as Kidd trained at the legendary Hart Dungeon. After years of being together, they finally got married, according to Jeffrey Wisenbaugh of

Based on what we have seen already, it appeared to be an extravagant and elegant wedding. It's actually quite rare for married couples to exist as active wrestlers in the same promotion, so following their transition into married life is going to be one of the show's highlights.

In addition to several Divas who are already on the active roster, Total Divas will introduce Eva Marie and Jo-Jo to wrestling fans. Eva Marie and Jo-Jo are new additions to WWE's developmental program, and they figure to get a leg up on the competition by appearing on this show. Although little is known about either of them at this point, they have both shown up on WWE television already.

Jo-Jo's debut came a few weeks ago when she accompanied The Funkadactyls and Tons of Funk to the ring. Jo-Jo has a background in music, and she performed Tons of Funk's theme song "Somebody Call My Mama."

Eva Marie's first impression was a bit longer lasting, as she and the rest of the Total Divas cast were featured in a Miz TV segment on Raw. When Jerry "The King" Lawler took over the proceedings and introduced himself to Eva Marie, she stated she didn't like the way he was looking at her, so she slapped him across the face.

Lawler addressed the incident on Twitter, and Eva Marie responded by furthering the heel character she created for herself on Monday.

Based on the previews and clips that are currently circulating, it seems like Eva Marie and Jo-Jo face an uphill battle when it comes to gaining notoriety. The Bella Twins are intent on holding down the competition, so the "newbies" will likely spend much of the show trying to overcome that oppression.
