The current summer has already seen Chelsea dipping into the transfer market multiple times, but even after completing a number of deals, the Blues and manager Jose Mourinho might not be done.

As ever, Chelsea are being linked with several players, including some big names and familiar faces. Meanwhile, a key current player could be set to extend his time with the club.

Mourinho’s admiration of Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney is no secret. Having seen their initial bid rejected, Chelsea are preparing a new offer, per the Telegraph. But will it be enough to convince United to sell?

In other news, Chelsea are beginning the process of giving midfield playmaker Juan Mata a new contract, per ESPN. And according to the Daily Mirror, the Blues are interested in bringing striker Didier Drogba back to Stamford Bridge as a player-coach.

Which rumors are fact? Which are fiction? In the clip above, B/R world football lead writer Michael Cummings gives his verdict on each. After watching, be sure to add your thoughts in the comments section.
