Listening to Terrell Thomas talk about 2013 has to be music to Perry Fewell's ears.
Fewell, the Giants defensive coordinator, needs his defense healthy again this year to compete for home-field advantage in the Super Bowl in February. And he needs production out of everyone, as New York had their worst defense in the franchise's history last year.
If Thomas can have an impact, he can certainly help improve upon a secondary that ranked 26th in passing defense in 2012.
Thomas has been the forgotten man in the Giants secondary. He hasn't played since 2010 and is trying to come back this year after having three ACL surgeries on the same knee.
Watching him work out in L.A., you would never know the pain he has endured. Thomas took to his blog recently and said, "I feel like I'm the X-factor for the defense."
Check out the video above. We caught up with Thomas in L.A., working out with his teammate Keith Rivers and trainer Travelle Gaines.
