Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders Tackle Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines'

For a shade over two minutes, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders dance and boogie while wearing bikinis as the most popular song of the summer plays.

It's safe to say that this tasty cocktail is exactly what you fine denizens of the Interwebz ordered. But be careful, because, as with any delectable concoction, things can go awry rather quickly.

Jimmy Traina of Hot Clicks spotted this wonderful video from the Bucs cheerleaders that should have most of you nice and entertained until the first preseason game.

Apparently, this is just the latest music video of cheerleaders using this particular song. As Traina notes, the Houston Rockets squad did the same last week

Unfortunately, that little tidbit from the Internet slipped through the transom of otherwise brilliant videos that land here. However, I have a feeling—a sick, gut-wrenching one—that will not be the case going forward.

No, if we can count on anything from the Internet, it's that it grabs onto anything catchy and duplicates it until it's lost all value.

If you once enjoyed this song, say your fond farewells now.

Soon, every last cheerleader, fan and athlete will have made their own "Blurred Lines" rendition. At that time, the once-popular song will be chewed up and spit out into a pile—right on top of "Call Me Maybe" and "Gangnam Style."

For the moment, we can sit and watch with a smile and a nod. Soon, every cheerleading crew from every major sport will post a similar video.

You will want to look back on this day and remember how pleasant it all was.
