Following on from the best signings in the Premier League this is the edition of the worst signings in the league.
Not every team can sign great players, so there will always be signings that don't turn out as planned.
I am going to be writing about the ten worst signings this season. I hope you enjoy it.
10. Mikael Silvestre
The 31 year old Mikael Silvestre was signed from Manchester United in the Summer transfer window.
His transfer attracted a small controversy in that he signed for a title contender but it wasn't anything that serious.
is work in defence hasn't been of the highest value but he has managed to play 13 games in which he has scored twice and assisted once.
9. David Healy
David Healy was signed from Fulham on a three-year contract to Sunderland.
His time at the Stadium of Light has been pretty bad, and he has not received much game time.
At Sunderland, he has played only nine games scoring once and assisting once aswell.
8. Fabricio Coloccini
The signing of Fabricio Coloccini was supposed to help Newcastle get into Europe but wow, things have not turned out that well.
The big money signing from Deportivo La Coruna has been horrible with him not adapting to the speed of the English game.
This season he has played 33 games and hasn't scored or assisted any goals.
7. Heurelho Gomes
His horrible bundles in the beginning of the season have had an impact on Totenham's current position.
Who knows where Totenham could have been if Heurelho Gomes didn't make those mistakes.
Luckily, Harry Redknapp came along and has changed the fortunes of Gomes.
In the Premier League this season, Gomes has played 31 games, saving 115 shots and keeping 11 clean sheets.
6. Jo
The big money signing of Jo from CSKA Moscow was believed to be one of the best, but how good was it really?
Finding his rhythm has been difficult for Jo, but his loan to Everton has been a bit more successful.
This season, he has played 19 games scoring six times and assisting once.
5. David Bentley
His first season at Tottenham hasn't been a great one by his standards, anyway.
David's big money move from Blackburn was expected to be one of the greatest this season, but things didn't eventuate at all.
This season, David has played 24 games, scoring one goal (which happened to be against Arsenal), and assisting twice.
4. Dave Kitson
Expected to be one of Stoke's best signing has turned out to be pretty horrible.
He has played a couple of games for Stoke this season in which he hasn't scored in any and therefore was loaned out to Championship outfit and old club Reading.
There he has scored twice and has had a season to forget.
3. Xisco
Xisco who. Well who could forget a name with an X?
Anyway, Xisco was bought from Spanish side Deportivo la Coruna on deadline day.
This season, he has played five games and has managed to even score once as well.
2. Robbie Keane
The Silver medal goes to Robbie Keane. Robbie joined his boyhood heroes Liverpool for a pretty hefty fee.
Expecting to be a part of a formidable attack line with Fernando Torres, things didn't escalate to what was expected, and so in the January transfer window, Keane was sold back to Tottenham.
Robbie has played 30 times this season, scoring eight goals and assisting on seven.
1. The Whole Of WBA players that were bought
A lot of money was spent on players bought by WBA and no one in particular has performed well this season.
12 players were brought to West Brom in the January transfer window and not one of those players have performed well enough this season.
Therefore, WBA transfers are the worst this season.
