Rockies' Offense Fails Again as Marlins Win Second Straight, 4-2
Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Helton joined prestigious company in the second inning. The irascible veteran smashed a two-out solo homer into the second deck beyond right field to give the Rockies a 1-0 lead. It was the 361st homer of Helton's career, tying him with Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio for 76th place on baseball's all-time home run list. The Rockies had cut the lead to 3-2 in the seventh after a leadoff triple by LeMahieu that rattled around the right-field corner. LeMahieu scored on Carlos Gonzalez's groundout to second.
