Calling Fact or Fiction on the Latest Arsenal Transfer Rumors
As the summer slogs on, so do several transfer sagas throughout the world of football. Arsenal are no exception to the rule, and in fact, the Gunners have been involved in their fair share of drawn-out pursuits.
In our latest entry in our series on Arsenal transfer rumors, we involve three such situations.
First, there’s Gonzalo Higuain, Real Madrid’s Argentine striker who appeared set to join Arsenal for much of the summer. Now, however, AS is reporting that Napoli are close to completing a deal—and the Italians are willing to pay Real Madrid much more than Arsenal.
Next, it’s Liverpool’s Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, who can’t stand the English media but—according to the Daily Mirror, at least—is quite interested in joining Arsenal. But the situation is not as straightforward as what Suarez might or might not want.
In the clip above, B/R world football lead writer Michael Cummings gives his verdict on all three rumors. After watching the video, be sure to add your thoughts in the comments below.
