Will Jay Z Be a Good Sports Agent?

BR StudiosFeatured ColumnistJuly 29, 2013

In case you've been living under a rock (not Roc), Jay Z (he recently dropped the dash) is the owner of Roc Nation sports agency.

The rapper, mogul and now agent has taken the sports world by storm. He's touched the NBA, MLB and the NFL by signing Kevin Durant, Robinson Cano and Geno Smith. Who's next?

Jay Z recently called himself a "problem" for other agents and took shots at Scott Boras (Cano's former agent) and the NFLPA (for its investigation into his signing of Smith) on his latest album.

Athletes are saying they see unique opportunities to sign with a guy like Jay Z.

Check out the video above as we hit the red carpet at the ESPYs to get the athletes' and celebs' takes on if Jay Z will be a good agent. Let us know in the comments below if you think the rapper/agent is good for sports.
