The Mets just concluded one of the most significant weeks of their season. It started with the annual All-Star Game festivities that the Mets themselves were hosting, which included Fan Fest, the Futures Game, the Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, Home Run Derby and the All-Star Game itself.
David Wright participated in the Home Run Derby, but did not advance past the first round. In the All-Star Game, Wright had one hit in three at-bats, while teammate Matt Harvey pitched two scoreless innings to start the game for the National League.
After a two-day break, the Mets began the second half of the season against the Phillies and won two of the three games of the series.
Down on the farm, some of the Mets' prospects were able to showcase their talents at the Futures Game, while others made the All-Star teams of their own respective leagues. Here are this week's evaluations on the Mets' top prospects.
