The lady in black has not been real good for Dale Jr.Jr has never won there he has only had three top five's,7 top tens and his avg finish is 14.2.A quote from Dale Jr "it's such a tough racetrack", "When you've won there, you're considered one of the tougher guy's in the sport because you can conquer this race and conquer what the track throw's at you".The last seven winner's at Darlinton started 11th or better, no driver has won from the pole since Dale Jarrett in 1997. Dale Jr start's in 26th position in tonight's race, maybe this could be the race that turn's it around for Jr.

Dale Jr currently sit's in 18th in point's and is only 87 point's behind 12th place Matt Kenseth.Hendrick Motorsports has done well at Darlington with 12 win's , with Jimmie Johnson starting 42nd after hitting the wall and having to go to a back up car,it seem's Jr's not the only one having trouble this year.Jeff Gordan start's 2nd tonight and martin starting 12th i bet a Hendrick car will win tonight. It would be nice to see Jr pull off a win and build his confidence, and get in the top twelve.
