Dolphins Sign 1st-Round Pick Jordan
The Miami Dolphins and rookie Dion Jordan reached a contract agreement on a four-year deal Saturday afternoon, meaning the team's first-round pick should be on the field for the summer's first training camp practice Sunday.
It is believed the deal will pay Jordan approximately $20 million with an estimated $13 million guaranteed. Foxsports.com reported that Jordan's deal did include the offset language, which had been a sticking point in the negotiations, but it also had a provision giving the pass rusher more guaranteed money earlier in the deal.
