National Championship or Probation?

29 Nov 1995: Coach John Calipari of the Massachusetts Minutemen watches his team with intensity from the sideline at The Palace in Auburn Hills, Michigan in the Great eight tournament. Massachusetts advanced to the Final Four by defeating Kentucky 92-82.

I must admit that I am curious how Calipari will do at the University of Kentucky with the "resources" that are at his disposal.  Factor in the history of the university and he may be the next big coaching icon.  He has not exactly won any big games in his tenure at Memphis, but he could sure recruit.

My question, like many others, is how did he recruit so well at the University of Memphis?  He looks slick and comes across smooth when he is on CBS doing pregame analysis for the next big game, but seriously have you been to Memphis?  Do the parents of these high school kids really buy into "the system?"

Well, now that Kentucky has landed its biggest recruit since Rex Chapman in Calipari.  I hope that they stay out of trouble.  My question for fans outside of Kentucky is this...Do you think that Kentucky will win a national championship before they are on probation?
