At some point, Myles Turner may have to ditch those sweet sneakers and wear clown shoes.

USA Today's Jason Jordan reports on the latest hyped high school center and the enormous shoes he wears on the basketball court.

Some of you locked into prep sports have already heard of Turner, who is a 6'11" basketball star out of Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. He is a ranked No. 10 in the ESPN 100 and No. 2 overall at his position by Scout.com

But the reason the big man is creating a buzz at the moment is his growing feet that now demand size 21 shoes, captured in a picture from Jordan's report:

While remarkable, my favorite part of the report is that Turner's feet grew from size 14 to 17 in two weeks during his freshman year.

We've all heard of growth spurts, but that's just ridiculous. That's a change usually seen only in comic book characters.

If you're wondering where these mammoth feet stack up against some NBA greats, Jordan writes, "Here's some perspective: Yao Ming stands 7'5" and wears an 18. Shaquille O'Neal is 7'1" and wears a 22."

Unfortunately, that means some of his favorite shoes fell victim to the feet that won't stop growing:

It only took two weeks to go up three sizes. Two weeks! My mom couldn't believe it. One night my LeBrons were fitting fine then the next day I started noticing that they were a little tight.

It's enough to expect the poor kid to trip and stumble up and down the court as he lugs around boats for shoes. However, this highlight video illustrates that he moves rather well despite his gigantic sneakers.

We all know the Internet loves to see images of big men next to tiny objects, which is one reason a sub-Reddit of Shaq holding things was started.

Brilliant shots of the Big Diesel holding what appears to be a baby-sized item never gets old.

Now if the Internet could get cracking on regular-sized objects being overshadowed by Turner's colossal kicks, that would be swell.
