The legend of Jadeveon Clowney continues to grow.

South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier said during his SEC Media Day press conference that Clowney was clocked in the 4.4s for his 40-yard dash.

Jadeveon Clowney said he talked trash about running a sub-4.5 40 but didn't actually think he could do it. Well he ran a 4.46 yesterday

Spurrier confirmed Clowney (as has Clowney himself) that he ran a 4.46 yesterday. "He said he's lost some weight. He's down to about 270."

Bruce Feldman of CBSSports.com reported in May that 6'6" Clowney had a 38-inch vertical at the start of Spring Football. That means Clowney has gotten bigger, stronger & faster since he did this last season.

Scary.
