All was going well in the Home Run Derby Monday night in New York.
Yoenis Cespedes had a great first round (hitting 17 home runs), Bryce Harper hit an astounding 541-foot shot, and both squared off in the finals.
Cespedes ended up winning the event, taking down Harper 9-8 in the final round.
It was truly a great night, and a fight in the Citi Field stands made for quite the spectacle off the field as well (h/t Deadspin).
While Mike Piazza was on the set with Chris Berman and Nomar Garciaparra on the ESPN telecast, two fans started fighting during Michael Cuddyer's turn in the derby.
A fan in a blue shirt had another guy in a front headlock, while the fan in the headlock had someone pulling on his shirt from behind in a feeble attempt to break things up.
