Dwight Howard dominated when he was with the Orlando Magic. The Magic knew they had the franchise player they desperately needed since the departure of Shaquille O'Neal. Dwight was unstoppable and even led his mediocre roster to the NBA Finals. 

Frustration grew within the All-Star center as his organization continued to disappoint. At that point, there was no way the Magic could please Howard; he wanted out of Orlando. Speculation grew and his reputation suffered as his displeasure became noticeable. 

Between the firing of coach Stan Van Gundy and talks of leaving for the Nets, the Magic knew they had to get rid of Howard. That frustration followed him to Los Angeles. 

After a frustrating year with the Lakers, Howard finally got his chance to select his own destiny, leading him to join the Houston Rockets.
