Santino Marella's WWE Entrance Music Translation

I was looking through my old articles and saw a piece about the translation of Maryse's entrance music, and it got me wondering what Santino's music meant.

Santino’s music doesn’t translate to anything amusing or racy like Maryse’s, but it is slightly bizarre.

The music is titled La Vittoria e Mia (Victory Is Mine), and was composed by Jim Johnston.

So to anyone who either doesn’t speak Italian or has never looked it up before, here is the translation from Italian to English:

Victory is mine, is mine

And the evil sun burns the world with its fire,
And the air and the light that last forever.

I reach my day, I hold the power,
Victory is mine, I bow to history,
I bow to everyone that has shown the way by sacrificing everything.

And the evil sun burns the world with its fire,
And the air and the light that last forever.

It is now my turn to write new history,
Victory is mine, I feel the sun burning the world with its fire,
And I see the light that lasts forever.

It is now my turn to write new history,
I reach my day, I hold the power,
Victory is mine, Victory is mine, is mine.

And the evil sun burns the world with its fire,
And the air and the light that last forever.

And the evil sun burns the world with its fire,
And the air and the light that last forever.

This seems a rather serious piece of music for a less than serious man.

I think he needs to change his music to “Shaddap your face” by Joe Dolce.

This translation is not breaking news, but I was sitting around doing nothing and found this, so thought I would share.

I wish everyone a good day.

Thanks to wikianswers.com for the translation
