Big news coming from the WWE, as it appears both CM Punk and Rob Van Dam were injured during Sunday’s Money in the Bank “All-Stars” ladder match.

The company posted a slideshow (seen here) on its website a few hours after the pay-per-view and noted that both men required staples after the match.

As we all know, the WWE tends to post graphic photos in black and white. I guess it's supposed to make the pictures seem more appealing or less shocking. Either way, Punk decided to take matters into his own hands and post the full-color photos on Twitter.

As you can see, he has a huge gash on his head—presumably from the ladder spot he took from Paul Heyman.

RVD seemed to be handling his gash well and noted on Twitter that he'd “always wanted a Frankenstein zipper.” Luckily, the joking Van Dam didn’t receive any major injuries that will cause him to miss any time, so we should expect to see him Monday night.

On that note, it appears neither star will miss any time due to the injuries.

That being said, it should be interesting to see where the company is headed with this Paul Heyman and CM Punk feud. Simply put, Heyman and Punk are magic as allies and should prove to be the same, if not better, as adversaries.

In the end, Monday night’s Raw should lay the groundwork for an impending match between Punk and Lesnar at SummerSlam and give fans an idea of what to look forward to.
