Last night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, WWE presented its fourth annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view. After weeks of excellent build-up, the event definitely didn't disappoint.
Although no titles changed hands, two Superstars earned the right to call themselves Mr. Money in the Bank. Both individuals are guaranteed a shot at the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship, respectively, at any time and place of their choosing.
John Cena and Alberto Del Rio had successful title defenses, but not without controversy. The world title matches on this show were extremely entertaining and has this viewer looking forward to what comes next for both fighting champions.
Not only that, but the live Philadelphia crowd played a major role in making this show enjoyable. Their fun chants and signs helped the night move along at a quick pace and their reactions to the event's twists and turns were equally awesome.
Here, I will analyze each significant segment presented on the show. I will also provide a combination of predictions and wishful thinking about what I hope to see in coming weeks.
