WWE Money in the Bank 2013 Results: Randy Orton, Not Daniel Bryan, Wins Money in the Bank Match
The All-Stars cleared the ring of Rob Van Dam, who received a massive ovation for his return. The smoke cleared early, leaving Daniel Bryan and CM Punk in the ring. RVD reasserted himself with a springboard flying kick.
RVD hit an array of his vintage offensive moves before performing his signature "Rob Van Dam" pose.
After hitting Rolling Thunder on Daniel Bryan, RVD teased a Five-Star Frog Splash on Orton while he was on the ladder but was stopped by Christian.
Sheamus went for the briefcase but was thwarted by RVD. A power bomb attempt through the ladder was countered by Daniel Bryan, who connected with a flying knee.
All six superstars were on the ladder as they reached for the briefcase. All superstars fell off the ladder trying to grab the swinging briefcase.
Sheamus hit White Noise on Christian. He and Daniel Bryan battled atop the ladder to dueling "yes!" (Sheamus) and No! (Bryan) chants.
CM Punk hit a running knee on Sheamus against the ladder, followed by a modified leap frog maneuver with the ladder.
Orton hit a T-Bone suplex on Punk, who landed on the ladder.
Punk hit a spear on Orton, but was unable to climb the ladder as RVD interrupted.
RVD and Christian were atop a ladder and RVD leaped from one ladder to another. RVD hit a flying splash from the top of the ladder on Christian. Sheamus knocked RVD off the ladder. Bryan entered and exchanged kicks between Sheamus and RVD.
Bryan sent Sheamus flying off the top rope through a ladder on the outside.
Bryan climbed the ladder but Axel entered and took a chair to Bryan's leg, followed by an inverted neck breaker on the outside. CM Punk answered with a GTS as Curtis Axel exited the ring.
Heyman berated Curtis Axel. Punk climbed the ladder, but Heyman struck him with a ladder multiple times as Punk fell.
RVD tried, but Orton swung him from the ladder and hit the RKO. Orton scaled the ladder and grabbed the briefcase for the win.
