WWE's Money in the Bank pay-per-view is just hours away from the kickoff match of what very well could be an epic show. With the clock ticking closer and closer towards one of WWE's best PPVs of the year, here are some last-minute bold predictions.
Chris Jericho and Ryback Put on a Show
This match is not going to win any awards for the storyline behind it. Ryback and Chris Jericho's showdown is admittedly a thrown-together match. Just because there is little reason behind the bout does not mean it can't be successful, however.
Jericho has been in the wrestling business a long time and has worked with plenty of guys Ryback's size or bigger.
He's worked with Big Show, Mark Henry and Great Khali in the past. Y2J will be able to get a good match out of Ryback.
While Jericho might be the one carrying this match, don't sleep on Ryback's ability. Just this week on Friday Night Smackdown, Ryback did a convincing job of being injured most of his match with The Miz.
His obvious size advantage over Jericho will also allow Ryback to throw Jericho around the ring, which will make for some entertaining maneuvers. It's not wise to write off any Y2J match as a dud before it happens.
Kane Interferes in WWE Title Contract Money in the Bank Match
Kane won't be competing in the WWE title contract Money in the Bank ladder match, but that doesn't mean he can't make his presence felt.
WWE likely wants the Money in the Bank bouts to be the best ladder matches of this calendar year. The best way to throw a twist into the WWE title's ladder match would be to let the Big Red Monster wreak havoc for a bit.
It would make sense for Kane to be angry about being ruled out of a possible title contract match due to being jumped by the Wyatt Family. Kane could come in and deliver a few chokeslams and then head back to the locker room.
While this might be the boldest of the bold predictions in this article, don't rule out a cameo by the WWE veteran at this pay-per-view.
Wade Barrett Wins the World Heavyweight Title Contract Money in the Bank Match
Wade Barrett's WWE career has been an interesting one. He came in with a huge amount of hype as the leader of Nexus and then The Corre.
After both factions dissolved, he had a decent feud with Randy Orton and has been a three-time intercontinental champion. Barrett has been given some quality pushes by WWE and will again when he wins the world heavyweight title contract.
Among all the competitors, Barrett is the best potential main event talent in this ladder match. He deserves another chance in the spotlight and would work well with either Dolph Ziggler or Alberto Del Rio. WWE is about to give Barrett his next big push.
