The Indiana Pacers were one win away from going to the 2013 NBA Finals. They took the Miami Heat to Game 7, leaving many to believe that Indiana would be able to steal the hopes of the defending champions. Despite an overall strong performance, however, they could not beat Miami at home.
Could it have been the loss of Granger that kept them from continuing their playoff run? Or were the Pacers just a few pieces away from truly being a championship team?
Whatever statement may be true, the Pacers believe that there are no excuses now.
Granger will be back next season and with the 23rd pick in this year's draft, Indiana selected a solid and experienced player from Arizona, Solomon Hill. Watch now to hear Solomon talk about joining the Pacers and what he can bring to the organization.
