Why Wayne Rooney Should Stay At (or Leave) Manchester United?
The rumors—sorry, rumours—surrounding Wayne Rooney are as hot as any in recent memory with the English star seemingly unhappy at Manchester United. Will he go to Chelsea to join up with Jose Mourinho? Will he end up at Arsenal with Arsene Wenger? Will he leave England and go to PSG or suddenly deep-pocketed Monaco? Italy? Spain?!?!
Most likely, Rooney will stay in England, but whether he stays in Manchester or makes the move down to London remains to be seen. So as we wait to find out where Rooney will play in 2013, we might as well continue the debate of where he should play.
Should he stay with United or join the likes of Chelsea or Arsenal this year? This questions more than just which club offers Rooney the best chance to win another Premier League title; it also asks which club provides the best fit from a system standpoint. Which club offers him the best opportunity to be at the top of his game in time for next year's World Cup?
Should Rooney stay or go? What would be the best for the player, the club...and the country?
