The Complete Indianapolis Colts Training Camp Guide

0 of 7

Although there are some changes, the Indianapolis Colts enter the 2013 season with one season's worth of familiarity beneath their belts, which is more than they could say last season.

While there are new additions to the roster and a new offensive coordinator, most of the Colts now have at least one year together under Chuck Pagano and will try to build on their unexpected success in 2013.

The beginning of that journey will begin at the end of this month with the team's annual training camp. As we look forward to training camp, dozens of storylines, questions and positional battles litter our minds.

It is with those in mind that we go forward now and take a look at every bit of relevant information that we can find to prepare you for the 2013 Colts' training camp.

Roster Breakdown

2 of 7

Although the roster currently has 90 players, along with unsigned Bjoern Werner and Josh McNary to join the Colts, it must be cut down to 53 players by August 31.

During training camp, the Colts will look at every player on the roster and decide which of them are worth keeping through the season.

To preview this, here is a position-by-position look at each player on the roster.

Burning Questions

3 of 7

While the team doesn't enter training camp with nearly the amount of questions that remained before last season, with a brand-new coach, general manager and overall roster, there certainly are plenty of unknowns.

What kind of coach is Chuck Pagano?

Who will be the primary offensive weapons?

Where will the pass rush come from?

Will there be improvement in key areas?

These points will be crucial to the Colts' success in 2013, and we've broken down all of them, and more, in this look at the burning questions for the Colts' training camp.

Biggest Camp Battles

4 of 7

The most intriguing part of any training camp that doesn't include Chad Johnson and/or Hard Knocks is the positional battles.

They can be for starting positions, depth spots or even just a spot on the final roster at all, but the battles between players for a certain job are fascinating every season. The Colts have many this season that will be closely tracked, including the interior line, running back and cornerback.

Rookie and UDFA Watch

5 of 7

The Colts entered the 2013 NFL draft without a second- or fifth-round selection but still managed to leave with seven draft picks.

    Draft picks included:

    First-rounder Bjoern Werner

    Third-rounder Hugh Thornton

    Fourth-rounder Khaled Holmes

    Fifth-rounder Montori Hughes

    Sixth-rounder John Boyett

    Seventh-rounder Kerwynn Williams

    Seventh-rounder Justice Cunningham

Along with those seven were 10 undrafted free agents who will do what it takes to get into professional football.

So where can we expect to see these rookies during training camp? Find out in our rookie and UDFA watch

Bubble Watch

6 of 7

While some players are firmly entrenched into their spots on the 2013 Colts' roster, most are filled with doubt over their potential position on this roster.

Each players looks at the respective cut days with fear and dread, remembering each mistake they made during camp and hoping, praying that those mistakes didn't cost them their shot.

While it's like this for most players, there are a few that are so close that they'll be fighting for their NFL jobs all August.

To meet those players, here's our complete breakdown of some of the top bubble players for the 2013 camp.

Projected Final 53-Man Roster

7 of 7

What the final 52-man roster will look like is an ever-changing picture, one that will be shaped by the month of August more than almost anything else this offseason.

We've looked at our predictions for the final roster before, and those predictions will likely change as we progress through the training camp period.

But before camp actually begins, here is our pre-camp prediction of who will be on the 53-man roster for Week 1.
