Less than 24 hours after their debut on Raw, WWE rumors have already begun for the company’s SummerSlam plans for Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family.

According to WrestlingNewsSource.com (via F4WOnline),

WWE officials were indeed happy with the debut of The Wyatt Family Monday night and there was some talk going around about having The Wyatt Family go against Kane & The Undertaker at SummerSlam.

The decision matching up the Wyatt Family and Kane out of all of the WWE Superstars was a wise choice, as I discussed in the pros and cons of the group’s debut.

If these rumors do result in a tag team match at SummerSlam, it would certainly make a lot of sense.

The Undertaker and Kane were among the top stars to help put over The Shield not long ago. In fact, the last time we saw The Undertaker on WWE TV, he was attacked and injured by Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Whether it is The Shield or the Wyatt Family feuding with the Brothers of Destruction, Kane and The Undertaker will be outnumbered.

The Shield competed in six-man tag matches when they first debuted, and the Wyatt Family could be in the same situation. Unlike The Shield, Bray Wyatt is clearly the leader in the group. Bray Wyatt would have to be involved in the match at SummerSlam and thus, a six-man tag match or three-on-two handicap match are the most likely scenarios.

If a six-man tag match is the choice WWE goes with, Daniel Bryan is one likely candidate to join forces with the Brothers of Destruction. However, reports indicate Bryan will already be in the WWE title match at SummerSlam.

Sheamus or Randy Orton would then emerge as likely candidates to join The Undertaker and Kane against the Wyatt Family. They were both among the trios to challenge The Shield in early 2013 and unless one of them wins Money in the Bank, they would be in need of a feud.

Sheamus and Orton have been stuck in meaningless feuds since their matches with The Shield, but it would be logical to see them compete against the newest three-man faction in WWE.

One reason that this match may not happen involves the health of the Phenom of the WWE. A report from WrestlingInc.com discussed the Undertaker’s status:

There was immediate speculation that The Wyatts were gearing up for a SummerSlam match against Kane and The Undertaker after they took out Kane on RAW last night. F4Wonline.com reports that The Undertaker may not be ready for SummerSlam as he's hurt again. Apparently Taker injured himself in his most recent WWE TV angle with The Shield a few months ago.

If The Undertaker cannot go at SummerSlam, perhaps Orton and Sheamus will team with Kane. This scenario would not be as appealing, though. It is always exciting to see The Undertaker in the ring. The last few years, he has basically only competed at WrestleMania. That was, until the feud with The Shield.

Now we will have to see if The Undertaker’s health can help put over Bray Wyatt and his family.
